Your CV should begin with a powerful opening statement that presents a clear case for your value as an employee. You have only three sentences or bullet points to prove your qualifications, as in our videographer CV sample, so be selective in how you choose your summary content.

Focus on your top three selling points, whether they’re particular talents related to the video and media sector, notable accomplishments and innovations, or a long-term history in a particular specialization. Get to the point with bold language, and leave anything unnecessary on the cutting room floor.
